Irregular exercise will make us lazy and prone to many health diseases. Being sick during the lockdown period is not something you would want. As we are staying in our homes, 24/7, our healthy lifestyle habits have been messed up. And one such bad habit that we have picked is eating junk food. As we were aware of the limited food supply during the lockdown, we stocked our homes with numerous items of junk food. This food is not at all healthy for us, and we are eating but junk. This will increase the number of fats in our body, and we will be soon out of shape and bad overall health.
The diet that we should take must include fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, whole grains and protein. You should avoid food with artificial sugar. Along with the intake of good food, the right amount of water intake is also essential. As you know, our body is made up of 75% water; our water needs are very much important. We need to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. This will keep us hydrated and our immune system healthier. And the most important thing is to make a schedule and eat around it. Bad-time eating can result in the messed up digestive system. The right amount and the right timing of food will lead to overall healthy lifes.

Have a Sound Sleep
Sound sleep is one of the main factors that contribute to your overall health. The lockdown period has somewhat disturbed our whole schedule. We are sleeping and waking up at our will, which has, in turn, made us lazy. Sleeping less or at an irregular time can impact your health negatively. Studies show sleep-deprived people to have a bad immune system and overall health. The bad immune system can make us more prone to the damage done by the virus. People with a sound immune system are far less likely to be under critical condition even if they come in contact with the virus. And one of the major benefits of sound sleep is good mental health. As we know, there is a lot of negativity around us, and bad sleeping habits can mess up with our brains, and we can exhibit more anxiety and stress.
Maintain proper sanitization
The virus that has locked people down in their own homes spreads only with physical contact. The only way to stay safe from this is by not coming in contact with other people and remain sanitized always. If you are going out for grocery shopping, then make sure you have a mask on your face and hand sanitizer in your pocket. Keep using the hand sanitizer after every 30 minutes and wash your hands for 20 seconds after your home. Taking a bath will be the best alternative. Although it is advisable to take a bath twice a day but doing it after every time you go out would be the best.
Clear your head through meditation
Along with the physical health, we should also take care of our mental health, especially during the lockdown. There is a lot of negativity all around us in the form of news. This extra negativity due to staying at homes for such a long time can be very bad for your mental health. It is advisable for you to meditate at least once every day. There are a lot of digital apps and YouTube videos that will help you to meditate properly. Meditation will make you calm and lessen anxiety and stress.
It will help you think clearly and give you strength and energy for the day. After meditating for only 20 minutes, you will feel a rush of newborn energy, and it will provide you with the strength to fight the negativity and start your regular day easily.
