  6. Your feet and shoulders should not lift up from the mat. 
  7. Now, bring your heels towards you. That is towards your pelvic region.
  8. Bring your hands near your hip region. 
  9. Keep the palms of your hands, facing on the ground
  10. Now exhale. 
  11. Keep in mind you shouldn’t feel any pain in your lower back. Stop the asana if you do.
  12. You will feel certain stability in your spine, as you slowly perform the asana. 
  13. Keep in mind to perform this slowly and move ahead in the asana gradually to avoid any sprains post-yoga.
  14. Now, inhale. 
  15. Open up your legs while letting out the inhaled air. 
  16. Your inner thighs will get a good stretch. 
  17. Now you can exhale and come out of the post. Keep in mind to come out of the pose gradually to avoid any extra stress on the muscles.
