5 things to do when you can’t fall asleep

Sleep is the ultimate bliss that relinquishes the man’s thirst for rest after a tiresome day. 

The basic necessity which if not adhered to for mere 11 days can even lead to lethal consequences. 

 

 The above fact justifies why sleep is an integral part of the life of a human which can’t be ignored. But do we take care of it enough?

 

We bet no!

When was the last time you did something when you couldn’t have a proper sleep for days or when you lied down early for an ideal sleep but ended up bing-watching your favorite web series and eventually sleeping in the important meeting? 

 Sleep sure gives a comforting experience but when fulfilling it becomes a task, it can give you a headache. Now the question is, what can we do to avoid a bad sleep and easily fall into a soothing sleep?

    This will help you get rid of unwanted thoughts and noises which strike to be a big hindrance in your course towards healthy sleep.

  2. Optimize the sleeping environment

    Bad temperature or imbalanced lighting can set the tone that nurtures an awful sleep. 

    The only way out is to control the lighting, temperature, and noise. This will help by comforting your body getting rid of all the negativity residing in the vibes.

  3. Setting a sleep schedule

    It might sound a bit cliche to set up a sleep schedule but in reality, it does reward you. It tends to adjust your body’s clock and helps in falling asleep.

    Sticking to the same sleep schedule every night ensures that the body finds its natural rhythm and eases into regular sleep-wake cycle settlement.  Sleeping at Irregular time intervals forces your body to remain in uncertainty and won’t be able to adjust to a set schedule. 

    Once you work upon these, falling asleep would be a child’s play for you.  All you have to do is to play the cards right and you will yourself getting a comfortable and healthy sleep which will immensely contribute to your health and lifestyle.
